PARADISE CHOIR

Commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

A 7-story composition for the newly redesigned SFMOMA, A Paradise Choir was commissioned by the museum to christen, wake up, and warm in their new building through a series of open workshops, drop-in concerts, and guided architectural tours. These communal choral activities helped to resonate the body and the building through synchronized noise making and careful listening. The performance installation lasted for four weeks in 2016 to commemerate the Snøhetta designed addition to the museum.
