HIROSHI BELL

for Blunk Space x Commune Design

A wall-mounted bell made from redwood and bronze crotales. Rung with a bronze bar, a Hiroshi Bell has a bright and clear sound that is fresh and welcoming on the ear. It's a door bell, a meditation bell, a garden piece, something to hang on your surf shack, a way to call your kids in from the woods, or draw them in for a meal.

“By enveloping a space with sound, it transforms into something prosperous. We can call it an interior made up of sound. Not all interiors are visual by nature; music as interior is none other than the interior of the heart." – Hiroshi Yoshimura

Gratitude and thanks to Angel City Lumber in Los Angeles and Evan Shively / Arborica in Marshall, CA who supply the wood for these works.
